Creating Classroom Communication

Here is my first attempt at creating a GOOGLE FORM.... it was very easy! I thought this would be a great form that any teacher can put into their classroom webpage.

This form is geared towards a kindergarten classroom where the family members come in and drop off/ pick up the students.

Do you think you could use this in your classroom? What changes or add-ons can you suggest?

  1. Hi Cassandra,

I think this is a good form that parents (such as myself) would feel ready to respond to, without being at all overwhelming. It should garner some valuable information!

  2. This would be a good and efficient tool for establishing and maintaining good communication with parents/guardians.

  3. Too often, data garnered from surveys is not used used in a meaningful way because teachers are not exactly sure how to analyze the results. SPSS analytics software isn't for everyone :) I like the idea of adapting this Google Form to reach out to students' parents re: anticipated classroom involvement, preferred methods of communication, knowledge re: curricula, and individual concerns and/or anticipated goals for their children. While we can't guarantee 100% parent participation (or even 50% for that matter!), Google Forms is an easy, efficient way to connect with families. I'll be piloting GoogleForms in my future classroom!
